Diamond. A ruina resurrexit

The exhibition is an opportunity to discover and appreciate the planning that characterizes the work of Diamond, a celebrated street artist both on the Roman and International scenes who has been active since the 1990s.
Many years have passed since he began as a writer, and although street experience remains an intregral part of his work, his artistic profile is increasingly defined by its complexity and defies clear definition. Spurred on by an incredible creative vision which leads him to explore different styles and techniques, his solid cultural roots and remarkable technical mastery are there to behold in his outdoor projects, in the works presented in the gallery and in this exhibition. The path through the museum space will present 11 original illustrations created in 2010 for the book “Roma Omnia Vincit”, editor Drago, 9 photographs of the places throughout the city where the artist has produced posters from original drawings, together with material documenting the planning phase, including sketches, preparatory drawings, stencils, etc., which provide the makings for a detailed understanding of how the illustrations came to be produced.
